Do you remember all the hype surrounding that mysterious event called Y2K? Well, nearly all of that turned out to be hot air, but Jimmy Cox's take on the year 2000 buzz may well be the most beautiful production banjo you'll see this millennium.

The Y2K Kentucky-5 features a mahogany neck and resonator, and the Y2K tone ring, which is cast from a special alloy. The fretboard and peghead are crafted from the finest Brazilian rosewood, a species in extremely limited supply today.
